Cottage Insurance Program
This is a stand alone policy offering a variety of coverages.
Cottages
- Secondary and Seasonal packages available;
- Out of Province and US residents eligible;
- Wet Boathouse coverage available, dock coverage included;
- Rental for 30 days included (seasonal packages can increase to 60 days);
- Standard $200 deductible, can increase to $500 or $1,000 with discounts;
- Mature Market discount applied at age 50;
- $1,000,000 liability included, increase to $2,000,000 available
Secondary
- Must be occupied all year round, not unoccupied for more than 30 consecutive days at any time during the year.
- Must be winterized and on a permanent foundation.
- All Risk Coverage - Guaranteed Replacement Cost on Dwelling/Broad Named Perils Replacement Cost on contents
- Minimum of 800 square feet
- Single limit coverage
Seasonal
- Broad Named Perils Replacement Cost on Dwelling and Contents;
- Minimum of 500 square feet;
- Island properties;
- Single limit coverage
